Gananoque Cruise of the 1001 Islands
(I counted them)
and the
Mad Cow Happy Belly BBQ
July 19, 2003 was the date and the meeting place was the Gananoque dock for around 11:00 AM. The following is an overview of the outing. The pictures are broken into three categories, with the first being the cruise, the second is the following Sunday morning rendezvous and jam session at the park, and the third is the ever famous BBQ at Reverend Jack Bradley's home. I hope by breaking up the pictures into pages it will help those that have a slower internet connection. This years' BBQ was named the 'Mad Cow Happy Belly 2003 BBQ' by Trisha. So let's get started.....
After gathering at the dock on time...(well most of us anyway...) we had a chance to say hello to one another.
Some of us used this time to fill our bellies, while others just caught up on the latest news (not that I would
imply that the girls above are gossiping....)
Can that cute blonde really be related?? I think Darwin was just making sure...
So, this is the boat, and after convincing the captain that we would not try to throw anyone overboard, he
permitted us passage...
OK all ready, can we go now??
Finally we get boarded, that is after we find Andy who just happens to have all our tickets with him ...And
Val wastes no time picking out a comfortable seat, while Gord is just sooo exited.....
Hey, who's that guy above moving in on my sister? Oh, it's ok, younger brother Lloyd will scare the bee-jeepers out of him.
And we are off....
I had to use a long arm to take this picture of us all on the boat....but it turned out pretty good.
I think these lads are looking to stow-away.
Some of the view while on tour....By the way, anyone for a cabin on an island??
